Job Title:

Import CoordinatorJob Description The Import Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and processing import documentation, ensuring accurate data entry, and facilitating the smooth operation of freight logistics. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of performing piece count reconciliation, updating arrival notice information, and tracing freight as needed. Additionally, the coordinator will assist in optimizing the Cargowise system filters and create delivery orders and instructions as required. Responsibilities + Determine pertinent parts of import documentation. + Perform piece count reconciliation. + Accurately enter data. + Look up and update arrival notice information. + Trace freight as needed. + Assist with updating Cargowise system filters. + Create delivery orders and instructions as needed. + Obtain quotes from truckers, warehouses, and service providers. + Maximize profit margins for the department and acquire needed equipment for delivery. + Obtain proof of delivery and reconcile delivery charges. + Assist Import Customer Service Representative with daily functions as needed. + Clean up Cargowise system filters as required. Essential Skills + Customer service expertise. + Knowledge of documentation processes. + Experience in import operations. + Proficiency in data entry and administrative support.
