WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Leading the administration of statutory employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, and wellness Representing SEIB before legislative and executive branch officials Managing multimillion-dollar vendor contracts and ensuring regulatory compliance (HIPAA, ACA, HITECH, CAA) Driving data-informed decisions around cost containment, plan optimization, and population health outcomes Guiding a high-performing, stability-focused leadership team through a major succession moment Reporting directly to the Board and presenting operational updates with transparency and strategic clarity
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE CONSIDERED
Executive leadership experience in a health plan, public benefits agency, or related environment Track record of success in a politically nuanced or publicly governed organization Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including ACA, HIPAA, and other health plan mandates Experience managing vendor performance, contract negotiations, and public procurement processes Ability to lead with stability, clarity, and a long-range view of public service
