Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida (OSSWF), PA, is hiring anexperienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join our team as afull-time exempt employee. As the largest private orthopedicpractice in Southwest Florida, OSSWF is a well-established,multi-specialty group with 18 providers dedicated to deliveringexceptional patient care. Located in Fort Myers, Florida, ourpractice has proudly served the community for over 24 years. About OSSWF In September 2023, OSSWF expanded its commitment to excellence byopening a state-of-the-art 60,000 sq. ft. medical office building,along with an 8-room Ambulatory Surgical Center next door. Our teamincludes 16 orthopedic surgeons, two PM&R physicians, and 18Advanced Practice Providers, covering a full spectrum of orthopedicsubspecialties, including: Hand & Elbow Foot & Ankle Hip & Knee Sports Medicine Adult Reconstruction Trauma Spine To ensure seamless and top-tier patient care, OSSWF offers on-siteancillary services, including MRI, DME, PT/OT, as well as digitalXR, ultrasound, in-office fluoroscopy suite, and surgical center.

Job Summary The CEO plays a key leadership role in fostering transparency,continuous learning, and a commitment to excellence in every aspectof practice operations. This position is responsible for overseeingthe daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficiency, qualitypatient care, and alignment with the vision, mission, and strategicgoals of Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida. Working closely withphysicians and the executive team, the CEO drives operationalsuccess, enhances patient experience, and ensures compliance withregulatory standards.

Core Competencies Operational Leadership:

Oversee the day-to-day performance of the practice. Conduct on-site assessments to identify opportunities forimprovement in patient access, care alignment, patientsatisfaction, and revenue optimization. Implement correctiveactions as needed. Ensure staff consistently delivers high-quality service bymodeling professional behavior and maintaining the highest customerservice standards in all patient interactions. Support leadership in developing and implementing policies,programs, and procedures that enhance practice efficiency. Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives. Act as a problem-solver and resource for staff, assisting inresolving complex issues for both providers and patients.

Marketing & Growth Strategy:

Initiate new programs and market services through publicrelations campaigns. Promote internal marketing initiatives to boost patientengagement and retention. Oversee the implementation of advertising strategies inappropriate media channels to enhance brand visibility.

Regulatory Compliance & Workplace Culture:

Ensure full compliance with Florida State, Federal, and HIPAAregulations related to patient care and practiceoperations. Uphold and promote OSSWF’s organizational culture and values,fostering a positive, patient-centered environment. Exude a positive, helpful attitude to patients, staff andphysicians.

Partner with Human Resources to:

Cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere that encouragesretention. Ensure that compensation (pay and benefits) are marketappropriate. Implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction andengagement.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Evaluate, develop, and implement various administrative systemsand procedures designed to maximize the administrative and clinicalsupport workflows. Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to addressand resolve patient service issues, including delegating andcoaching staff on handling challenging situations. Ensure systems are in place to support patient receipt ofappropriate information regarding scheduled appointments andprocedures (e.g., letters, confirmation calls, documentation (i.e.,labs, images, referral letters, etc.) required by patient beforevisit).
