CEO/ Healthcare Operations Executive Sunshine Rheumatology and Arthritis Center Lakewood Ranch, FL 34212

We are a rapidly growing, physician-owned Rheumatology practice with five established locations across Southwest Florida. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, innovative, and patient-centered care. We are seeking an experienced and visionary CEO of Operations to join our leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of our growth and success.

Position Summary:

As CEO of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing both high-level strategic initiatives and grassroots-level day-to-day operations across all five locations. This includes direct involvement in operational efficiency, hiring, contract negotiation, marketing, and practice growth . The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in healthcare administration, business strategy, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive leadership and direction across all five practice locations. Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of each office, from front desk to physician performance. Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of physicians, clinical staff, and administrative personnel. Implement staff training programs and promote a high-performance culture. Manage and negotiate insurance payer contracts and ensure compliance. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote brand visibility and patient growth. Analyze practice performance metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvements. Develop and execute growth strategies, including expansion opportunities and new service lines. Work closely with the practice owner(s) and leadership to ensure financial and strategic goals are met. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications & Experience :

Proven track record in healthcare operations, payer contract negotiation, and team leadership. Deep understanding of clinical workflows, revenue cycle, compliance, and patient experience optimization. Strong skills in strategic planning, business management, and financial management. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while providing guidance and support. Experience in business development with a track record of identifying growth opportunities. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Strong analytical skills to assess operational performance and implement improvements. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead both at the executive level and directly engage with frontline staff when needed.
