Executive Director Posting on Behalf of another company 3100 NW Boca Raton Boulevard, Boca Raton, FL 33431 We are seeking a visionary empathetic leader who believes in second chances for women in recovery! Seeking an experienced Executive Director (“ED”) to lead the organization into its next growth phase. The ED will continue the overall tone and direction of the organization, working with our Director of Operations (“DO”) to diversify our product line, continuing to cultivate a supportive environment where women in recovery can thrive, grow, and reintegrate into the full-time workforce. Internally, the ED will lead in fostering a culture of excitement and accountability championing and directing our participant program to graduation for each participant. The individual best suited for this position is an experienced, entrepreneurial leader with strong integrity and a passion for helping individuals in recovery rebuild their lives. The role requires a balance of rigor, compassion, and a commitment to our social enterprise growth. Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the board to develop a strategic plan for designing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s daily operations by directing program strategy, ensuring compliance, maintaining quality assurance, and enhancing efficiency.
- Develop and implement performance tracking measures, communicate the results to the board, and analyze the outcomes for future planning.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence centered on effective prioritization.
- Lead, guide, and nurture the organization’s management team.
- Create an atmosphere that celebrates success.
- Establish effective systems to monitor scaling progress and consistently communicate results to the board, funders, and other stakeholders.
- Lead efforts in succession and contingency planning
- Expand the team when suitable to support growth initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive fundraising strategies, including donor relations, grant writing, and revenue generation.
- Ensure financial stability by managing budgets, monitoring cash flow, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
- Serve as the organization’s public face and advocate for the mission in the community.
- Forge and maintain relations of trust with internal and external stakeholders, including team members, alumni, board members, funders, volunteers, and community partners.
- Ensure the board is well-informed about the organization’s status and the significant matters and factors influencing it. Stay updated on nonprofit and social enterprise trends and inform the board as relevant.
- Engage in external events and build strategic partnerships to enhance community awareness and broaden the company reach.
- Collaborate with the Board to identify and nurture relationships with funders, including foundations, corporations, individuals, and community organizations. Skills Requirements
- 5+ years in management and leadership, preferably within the social impact or startup sectors
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proven capability to guide an organization through a phase of dynamic growth, including product development; startup experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in organizational management and the attainment of strategic objectives.
- Proven track record in building high-performing teams, possessing the skills and character to foster an engaging, supportive culture while ensuring staff members are accountable for performance goals.
- Strong financial acumen encompasses budget preparation, analysis, decision-making, and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey the mission and successes of an organization to employees, donors, volunteers, and the community.
- Understanding of sales and marketing to grow the social enterprise
- High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy in all reporting
