Position Summary:
In the esteemed position of CEO at NOLA GoldRugby, you will not only occupy a pivotal role but also bear theresponsibility of sculpting the trajectory of our esteemedorganization. Directly accountable to our esteemed Board ofDirectors, you will spearhead strategic initiatives aimed atpropelling NOLA Gold Rugby to unparalleled heights of success, bothon and off the field. Your stewardship will be instrumental incementing our status as a premier sports entity, deliveringconcrete returns to our valued shareholders, and nurturing ourenduring bonds with the community we proudly represent.
KeyResponsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation ofstrategic goals in collaboration with the Board. Work closely withthe Board Chair to set an annual agenda for the board meetings.
Develop and execute the annual business plan and budget, ensuringeffective implementation. Implement robust governance andoperational frameworks to support organizational growth. Provideleadership and direction to our dedicated team, fostering a cultureof excellence. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders,including
MLR, USA
Rugby, and our valued sponsors. Innovate incommercial activities to create new revenue streams and support ourprograms. Support the high-performance rugby program to recruit anddevelop top talent. Ensure effective management of our stadium toprovide an optimal home for professional rugby.
Requirements:
Weare seeking a proven leader with experience as a Chief Executive orSenior Executive in the sports or entertainment industry. The idealcandidate will possess excellent business acumen, strongcommunication skills, and a deep passion for high-performancesports, especially rugby. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, SportsManagement, or a related field is required.
