You will work closely with ownership to set strategic direction, build high-performing teams, and drive growth across product lines and markets. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a candidate with direct P&L experience now seeking to drive strategy and execution to take an already exceptional small business to the next level. The ideal candidate will thrive in dynamic environments, bring structure to complexity, and build systems that scale. It is not critical that a candidate have direct experience in construction or the trades. It is critical, however, that the candidate has the toolkit of a professional manager. Responsibilities 1. Ensure Continuity and Operational Excellence Maintain business continuity during the transition, ensuring stability across operations, customer experience, and product quality Maintain business continuity during the transition, ensuring stability across operations, customer experience, and product quality 2. Lead Growth and Strategic Execution Own the development and execution of a strategic plan targeting double-digit growth across revenue and margins Expand distribution channels, product lines, and geographic reach, including B2B and DTC opportunities Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships and acquisition targets. 3. Talent and Team Development Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier talent across production, sales, operations, and finance Foster a high-performance, accountable, and inclusive culture with clear KPIs and team alignment Create an environment where employees are proud to work, motivated to grow, and driven to win. 4. Financial and Operational Leadership Full P&L ownership, with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Identify and implement improvements in pricing, cost structure, and margin optimization Manage cash flow and capital allocation, ensuring financial health and sustainability 5. Qualifications:

Background:

Direct P&L ownership OR 7+ years in management consulting Direct experience running or helping scale an operational business strongly preferred Proven track record in leading teams, driving revenue and margin growth, and building sustainable systems

Skills:

High horsepower with tactical execution skills and intense drive to “figure it out” Ability to build trust with and lead teams working on the front lines, with mix of humility and authority Strong communication and interpersonal skills Sharp analytical capabilities and comfort with financial metrics, dashboards, and KPIs Deep understanding of operational levers (supply chain, labor, pricing, production, sales)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, etc.) is a plus but not required
