VP Underwriting Management Contract Surety – Montgomery, AL VPVice President Executive Director Program Manager Product ManagerUnderwriter Underwriting Manager Team Leader Commercial ContractSurety _ . Seeking natural born leader with 15 years specificexperience underwriting risks in Commercial Surety classesincluding, but not limited to: License and Permit Bonds, MortgageBroker Bonds, Liquor Bonds, Utility Bonds, Warehouse Bonds,Auctioneer Bonds, Lottery Bonds, Fuel Tax Bonds, Auto Dealer Bonds,etc. Supervise the activities of a team of underwriters with directreports from senior level underwriters; interact with executivesand ensure growth of a profitable and sustainable book of businessthrough client interactions, review of prepared quotes, andmarketing visits for developing new customer relationships. Ensureadherence to industry best-practices and internal requirements forquotes, maintain underwriting guide, rates, and forms. Leadtactical and strategic planning for growing market influence andgenerating new business. Meet with executive leadership at keyevents, interact directly with company president and ensure broadcompany goals are pursued through direct management of underwritingteam. Own responsibility for P&L, marketing, operations, andteam leadership. Create new policy forms and generate innovativemarketing approaches aimed at developing and growing business.
