Position Overview:

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic direction and operational efficiency of Valrose. Reporting directly to the COO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operations, including production, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of leadership, strategic vision, and operational expertise to drive sustainable growth and ensure the continued success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

Provide strategic direction and leadership to all departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability. 2.

Project Planning and Execution :

Spearhead project management initiatives, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop comprehensive project plans, allocate resources effectively, and mitigate risks to achieve successful outcomes. 3.

Scheduling Optimization:

Implement robust scheduling methodologies to optimize resource allocation, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity. Utilize project management software and tools to streamline scheduling processes and enhance operational efficiency. 4.

Workflow Optimization:

Analyze existing workflows and processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement strategies to streamline operations, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance productivity across departments. 5.

Resource Management:

Oversee resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project requirements and operational needs. Collaborate with department managers to ensure optimal resource utilization and alignment with project objectives. 6.

Production Management:

Oversee the production process, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control. Implement best practices to streamline workflows and maximize output while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. 9.

Team Development:

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or home improvement industry.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of driving operational excellence and achieving financial targets.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology platforms for project management, CRM, and ERP systems.
