Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the operations and maintenance functions Schedule all manufacturing /operations Ensure we ship to customer due dates Lead in the process improvements Work with customers on orders and delivery dates Ensure we meet all ISO /Quality policies in operations
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs any other tasks as directed by the
President Education and Experience:
- Previous tight tolerance machining and micro manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Familiar with ERP systems, ISO regulations and Lean Mfg.
- Medical or orthopedic manufacturing experience Job Knowledge, Skills, and abilities: Must be able to develop and institute a production schedule to meet our customer orders and within budget.
Must have excellent verbal and writing skills and be versed in CAD/ Cam and ERP software. Must be extremely computer literate and lead in problem solving activities. Must be able and willing to assist employees in understanding Quality/ISO requirements. Must be a mentor to all the employees. Must be familiar with all inspection tools and perform inspections if needed. Must have the aptitude to suggest and lead changes and process improvements to reduce costs and improve quality. Lead in the improvement in the quality of life for employees. This position requires training in general safety, GMPs, Quality System Regulations, ISO regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets, Departmental Work Instructions, and Device History Sheets. Must be trained in appropriate computer software.
