Summary We are seeking a Regional Administrator to help streamline daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to budget across all departments. This position needs to be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organization, able to solve problems and improvise as needed, and adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks. Coordinate with a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail. Responsibilities Maintain communication with COO, staff members, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points Oversee inventory management practices and improve them when necessary Ensure that operations are in legal compliance with local and national regulations Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary Onboard and train new Administrators to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures Review policies and procedures periodically, at least monthly, and make changes as necessary to ensure compliance with current regulations is being continually maintained. Ensure that residents’ rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights are well established and maintained at all times. Work with Administrators to establish and meet the annual operating budget for the facility. Review and interpret monthly financial statements and provide such information to the Executive Team. Help prepare an annual operating budget for review by the owner and allocate the resources to carry out programs and activities of the facility. Delegate authority, responsibility and accountability to other responsible persons. Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the COO concerning the operation of the facility. Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, etc., to keep abreast of current changes in the healthcare field, as well as to maintain a professional status. Meet with department supervisors on a regularly scheduled basis, and conduct/participate in in-service classes and supervisory level training programs. Requirements Possess the ability to make independent decisions. Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, personnel and the general public. Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel. Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. that are necessary for providing quality resident care and maintaining a sound operation. Must fulfill license requirements of this State. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to hospital and skilled nursing facility operations. Must be able to read and interpret financial records and reports Must be able to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale. Bachelor’s Degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
