VP of Financial Services Operations

The VP of Financieal Services Operations is a senior executive role reporting to the Head of the Title Division and collaborating with leadership teams at DFTitle (dba Golden Dog Title), Alliant National Title Insurance Company (ANT), and Dream Finders Homes (DFH). This strategic leader is responsible for transforming and scaling national title production operations to support accelerated growth through organic expansion and acquisitions.
The Director will lead cross-functional efforts to optimize workflows, integrate advanced technology, and drive performance excellence across underwriting and agency operations. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in title production or financial operations, a proven record in operational transformation, and a visionary approach to managing organizational change, growth, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision
Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to scale and modernize production operations in alignment with organizational growth and acquisition goals.
Forecast and model future operational needs based on increased order volumes and market expansion.
Partner with executive leadership to define performance goals, growth strategies, and innovation roadmaps.
Operational Excellence
Lead transformation initiatives that enhance order processing speed, reduce error rates, and improve service consistency.
Oversee end-to-end production workflows, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and scalability.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Technology & Innovation
Collaborate with IT and business systems teams to deploy production management tools, automation platforms, and analytics systems.
Leverage emerging technologies (AI, workflow automation, digital platforms) to streamline operations and improve user experience.
Workforce Planning & Leadership
Evaluate current team structure and lead workforce planning to meet growing demands.
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a high-performance and innovation-driven culture.
Drive employee engagement, mentoring, and leadership development.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a strategic liaison between title production, M&A integration, underwriting, legal, compliance, customer service, and executive leadership.
Support post-acquisition onboarding and operational alignment with newly integrated agencies or divisions.
Performance Management
Define, track, and report on KPIs to monitor operational performance and organizational readiness.
Provide insights to senior leadership, identifying key risks, opportunities, and success metrics.
Change Management
Lead complex organizational change initiatives to support scalability and modernization.
Communicate vision, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure alignment during transitions.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field required.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
Experience
10+ years in title insurance, financial services, or a related field, with a strong background in operations, production, and organizational scaling.
Demonstrated success in leading large teams, executing operational transformations, and managing multi-site production environments.
Skills & Competencies
Expertise in process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Deep understanding of title insurance workflows and/or financial production systems.
Strong leadership, team-building, and communication abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM tools, and operational analytics.
Regulatory and compliance acumen in the title or financial services space.
Additional Information
Travel:
Required as necessary to support regional teams and acquisition integration.
