Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization. This includes managing staff, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring efficient and effective operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare management and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all operational activities within the organization
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and suppliers
- Provide guidance and support to staff on operational issues
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, objectives, and expectations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of human resources practices and procedures
- Familiarity with critical care operations and medical terminology
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks)
- Previous experience working in a dental office is a plus
- Excellent fiscal management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
