Lee Health is seeking a strategic and dynamic Chief Nurse Officer Executive (CNOE) to lead our Primary Care and Ambulatory Services division within Lee Physician Group (LPG). As a vital member of our system leadership team, the CNOE will drive clinical excellence, operational performance, and patient-centered care across multiple service lines, including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Womens Health, and Behavioral Health .

Key Responsibilities:

In close partnership with the Chief Physician Executive, Operations Executives, and the VP of Operations for Surgical and Medical Specialties, the CNOE will: Provide strategic oversight of all primary care practice operations within LPG. Ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective medical care aligned with system-wide clinical and service quality goals. Collaborate with the Associate Chief Nurse Executive to optimize nursing performance and culture in ambulatory services. Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, clinician and staff engagement, and overall clinical outcomes. Manage financial performance including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost-efficiency. Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Promote system-wide consistency and standardization of operational practices across all locations. Serve as a key voice in clinical decision-making, representing both staff and patient perspectives.

Requirements Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN and a masters degree in nursing or other Healthcare related field and/or Business Administration.

Experience:

Must have a minimum of ten years experience in medical group or ambulatory care management. Previous experience at senior nursing level in ambulatory, physician practice and/or service line leadership.

Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Florida. Licensure requirements met within 60 days of hire for non- Florida hires.

Other:

Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of nursing care and established standards subscribed by the American Nurses Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to improve delivery of care. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Certification in Nursing Administration or appropriate specialty as applicable.
