UHS isrecruiting for a COO at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, FL.The hospital is a 319-bed, Joint Commission-accredited facilityserving Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties for over 60years. It offers services including emergency medicine, cardiology,orthopedic services, surgery, rehabilitation, respiratory care,oncology, and women’s and children’s services, including a Level IINeonatal ICU and Pediatric Center. Accredited centers include theManatee Heart and Vascular Center, Stroke and CerebrovascularCenter, Lung Institute, Outpatient Imaging Center, Wound Care andHyperbaric Program, and Breast Care Center.

The COO oversees dailyhospital operations, implements CEO and corporate strategies, andmanages hospital departments to optimize quality andprofitability.

This leader will: Direct quality operations to maximize ROI and communityreputation, increase revenues and income, and control operatingcosts. Develop and implement community-focused quality and serviceprograms. Manage and develop staff, fostering a high-performance hospitalenvironment through leadership, coaching, and feedback.
