Job Description

Will control all strategic and business aspects of the company by overseeing operations and designing and directing implementation of busines strategies, plans, policies and procedures that align with the company’s short-term and long-term objectives. Will conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of daily operations of all business lines within the company’s product portfolio. Will analyze operations to evaluate the company’s performance and determine areas of potential cost reduction, improvement or policy change to maximize returns on investment and increase profitability, and direct implementation of changes or corrective action when needed by using knowledge of markets and industry and identifying emerging trends. Will evaluate and optimize conditions, commissions, and profit-sharing arrangements for underwriters currently active with the company and its affiliates. Will leverage the collective strengths of the group to participate in re-negotiations and ensure mutually beneficial terms. Will develop annual operating budgets. Will oversee the company’s Human Resources functions including benefits, payroll, and recruitment and onboarding of executive team members as required. Will promote professional development by coaching and mentoring management team members across multiple locations. Will represent the company to clients, investors, and partners. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or accounting (or foreign equivalent) and 60 months management experience in insurance industry.
