We serve as both a direct lender and a broker on larger deals, leveraging our strong capital relationships and deep understanding of the U.S. private lending market. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our operations and drive the next phase of growth. Position Summary As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the lending business—from loan origination and underwriting to portfolio performance, investor management, and team leadership. This executive role requires sharp financial acumen, strong leadership, and deep expertise in the private lending industry. Responsibilities Loan Origination & Underwriting Oversee origination and underwriting departments to ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality loan submissions. Support structuring of bridge loans, construction loans, and fix-and-flip deals. Ensure timely closing and efficient loan processing. Capital Raising & Investor Management Develop and manage relationships with private investors, funds, and institutional partners. Lead capital raising initiatives and investor reporting. Represent Nexos at investor meetings and industry events. Portfolio Oversight Manage the loan portfolio to ensure strong asset performance and risk mitigation. Oversee default management, legal escalations, and foreclosure processes. Deliver reporting and insights to stakeholders and partners. Team Leadership & Strategic Operations Lead, train, and mentor a team across multiple departments including processing, servicing, and sales. Improve operational efficiency and internal systems. Support regulatory compliance and internal controls. Requirements MBA required Minimum 7 years in private lending, with executive or operational leadership experience Bilingual (Spanish and English) – Required Deep knowledge of real estate lending products (bridge loans, construction, fix-and-flip) Demonstrated success managing investors and raising capital Strong familiarity with the U.S. lending market and relevant regulations Ability and willingness to travel as needed (domestic and international) Experience managing loan portfolios and servicing operations Preferred Qualifications Experience with loan servicing software and CRM systems Network of real estate investors, brokers, and developers Familiarity with distressed debt and foreclosure procedures What We Offer Competitive compensation and bonus structure Leadership opportunity at a fast-growing, entrepreneurial lender Dynamic and collaborative team environment Opportunities for long-term career growth and development How to
