POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Food and Beverage is responsible foroverseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of allfood and beverage services at Winter Park Resort. This includesensuring exceptional guest experiences, developing and implementingoperational policies, managing budgets, and driving innovation inservice and menu offerings. The VP of Food and Beverage will workas a strategic partner with the resort’s senior leadership team tomeet financial goals, maintain high standards of service, anduphold Winter Park values. The role also involves managingcross-functional collaborations with key departments such asmarketing, Sales, human resources, and operations. Responsible forthe management of up to 7 direct reports and 300 indirect reports.

WAGE:
The base salary range belowrepresents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort’s salaryrange for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above orbelow the range based on various factors including but not limitedto experience, education, training, location, merit system,quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regularand/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component ofWinter Park Resort’s total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Salaryrange:
$133,000 to $188,000 annually
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
GeneralResponsibilities Serve as a strategic partner and key advisor tosenior leadership on food and beverage initiatives and financialstrategy. Accountable for brand standards, service initiatives,guest experience, guest feedback trends and actions to addressissues, talent development and retention Lead and oversee thedevelopment and execution of the food and beverage strategy acrossall resort locations. Maximize employee performance and positivemorale by serving as an ambassador of Alterra Core Values Manageall food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars,conferences, catering, and events, ensuring exceptional servicequality and guest satisfaction. Develop and manage departmentalbudgets, forecasts, and financial goals, ensuring profitabilitywhile adhering to company-wide financial strategies. Collaboratewith marketing, mountain operations, human resources, and otherdepartments to align goals and ensure the seamless integration offood and beverage services with resort-wide initiatives andgenerate higher performance. Stay current on industry trends, foodinnovations, sustainability practices, and regulatory changes tointegrate into offerings and ensure operational excellence.
Critically analyze all guests and employee experience metrics.
Drive employee development through training programs, performancemanagement, and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and foodsafety standards. Implement strategies to enhance operationalefficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service delivery whilemaintaining high-quality standards. Represent the food and beveragedepartment in meetings with senior leadership and other keystakeholders, presenting updates on department performance andstrategic goals. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 10 yearsof progressive experience in food and beverage leadership, with atleast 5 years in an executive or senior management role. Proventrack record of successfully managing large-scale operations,including financial oversight and cross-department collaboration.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple locationswith different goals. Strong leadership skills with experience inmanaging diverse teams and building collaborative relationshipsacross functions. Extensive knowledge of food and beverage trends,best practices, and regulatory compliance. Exceptionalcommunication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong business acumen, including experience with budgeting, costcontrol, revenue generation, and driving financial performance.
Ability to make decisions and adjust to changing situations andpriorities. Ability to provide an industry leading, positiveworking environment. Passion for providing exceptional guestservice, creating memorable dining experiences, and drivinginnovation in food offerings.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’sdegree in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, BusinessAdministration, or a related field preferred.
