The Opportunity:
Orlando Health announces an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished and respected executive to serve as the Vice President, Primary Care and Multi-Specialty Service Line.
The Vice President (VP) provides strategic and operational leadership for the Primary Care and Multi-Specialty Service Line within Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG). The Vice President supports and fosters a culture of excellence by aligning service line strategies, processes, practice, and education around customer experience, access, and a standardized operational approach to all clinic workflows. This individual will directly report to the Senior Vice President, Orlando Health and President, OHMG and will work closely with the dyad physician leader, Dr. Charbel Salamon, Interim President, Primary Care and Multi-Specialty Service Line. The VP will also work closely with all operational teams, clinical leaders, regional presidents, hospital presidents and the OHMG administrative team to support seamless service across the care continuum. The Primary Care and Multi-Specialty Service Line includes approximately 350 providers in internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Center for Fetal Care, OB Hospitalists, Behavioral Health and Endocrinology.
The Ideal Candidate:
Master’s degree in health administration, business administration, and/or public health required.
Certification and training in process improvement and data analytics are preferred.
Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in a physician practice leadership position within a multi-hospital, integrated healthcare system.
Experience managing a physician and APP team of more than 100 providers with specific experience in primary care and/or women’s health.
Strong operational skill set with the ability to balance quality, patient experience, efficiency, and financial performance.
A combination of strategic and tactical skills, including financial analysis, strategic planning, decision support, and operations, is required.
Knowledge and experience in physician practice financial administration and payer reimbursement.
Proven track record in improving productivity and access; successful experiences in process improvement methodology.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, mentor, and inspire a diverse group of physicians and clinicians.
Strong business development expertise in utilizing and interpreting data for strategic planning, modeling and growth.
