GENERAL SUMMARY
The AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida VP of Foundation Operations serves a pivotal leadership role in elevating the philanthropic efforts of a complex healthcare organization by driving operational excellence to support transformative fundraising initiatives. The executive builds a platform for performance for the philanthropy team through donor data management, data analytics and financial management and ensures seamless integration and accuracy across systems to empower informed decision-making.
The VP reports to the President of AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida. The VP of Foundation Operations fosters a culture of not only efficiency and effectiveness but also customer-centric support for internal teams. They lead efforts to streamline processes, implement innovative tools and ensure staff has access to insights and resources required to achieve ambitious fundraising goals. This leader also creates and maintains financial systems to ensure the foundation operates with the highest levels of integrity, transparency and compliance. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership:
Create and implement a cohesive and well-understood vision for robust foundation operations with which operations teams can align their work and accountabilities.
Donor Data Management:
Oversee accurate collection, organization, maintenance, security and utilization of donor information to support targeted engagement strategies.
Patient Data Integration:
Utilize Protected Health Information allowable under HIPAA for fund development purposes to identify and engage prospective donors.
Business Intelligence:
Leverage advanced analytics, business intelligence and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to identify trends, secure insights, inform priorities, measure outcomes, and provide actionable information to optimize strategy and performance.
Ensure access to tools and resources to support prospect research on individuals, corporations, foundations and other grantors.
Financial Management:
Ensure the foundation’s financial management processes are robust, transparent, consistent with the highest legal and ethical standards, reflective of current financial accounting standards for charitable entities, and aligned with industry standards for counting charitable production.
Budget oversight:
Manage the Foundation’s multi-million dollar operating budget.
Performance Management:
Ensure the foundation has consumable and actionable dashboards or reporting tools for sharing financial and programmatic performance with internal and external audiences. Support team accountability through clearly defined and fair metrics. Integrate benchmark comparison information from the industry and high-performing peer organizations to illuminate opportunities for program refinement.
Systems:
Reviews Foundation systems related to pledge reminders, gift receipting, financial processing, database entry, database management and other processes to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness.
Technology and Tools:
Evaluate, implement and maintain tools that enhance information sharing, operational efficiency and decision-making capabilities.
Customer Service Leadership:
Create a service-oriented environment that prioritizes collaboration, responsiveness and the success of internal teams.
Internal collaboration:
Works collaboratively with Marketing, Partnership, Community Impact, Strategic Planning and other areas of the organization to implement initiatives that align with organization’s overarching goals.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and team members simultaneously and see projects through to completion. Aptitude for program and project evaluation and process improvement. Knowledge of rules around the compliant and ethical use of Protected Health Information for fund development purposes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience in data visualization, management and wrangling complex datasets, utilizing tools such as Alteryx, Power BI and Tableau. Proficiency with data analytics and prospect research tools, vendors and applications, such as DonorSearch, KindSight, LexisNexis and Blackbaud ResearchPoint. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s Degree in Non-Profit Management, Business, Information Systems, or Similar Fields Minimum 10 years’ experience in foundation operations Minimum of 5 years leading a foundation operations team in a complex healthcare organization.

Master’s degree preferred
