Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

About the job The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives. This team is responsible for setting go-to-market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products (from representing the customer to advocating for product requirements to ensuring teams are equipped to drive customer growth, product adoption, and business health at scale). This team plays an important role in building excellent go-to-market infrastructure from tooling to enhancing GBOers business skills to ensuring flawless execution and operations against desired business outcomes and priorities. In this role, you will work directly with the regional sales leadership and Global Product Solutions leadership team. You will lead a team whose purpose is to accelerate business growth and future proof the business by designing and deploying regional programs, facilitating stronger global to local connections, partnering with a variety of cross-functional teams to land key industry moments, and shaping the regional strategic plan and priorities. The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Define, prioritize, structure and execute strategic and operational initiatives which includes developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing data, leading analyses and developing and implementing recommendations. Analyze business processes to identify potential issues and uncover/prioritize levers for improvement. Influence senior stakeholders to implement suggested improvements. Structure and package work into compelling presentations and communications that influence various audiences including senior executives. Advocate and leverage global activation infrastructure to design/deploy regional activation programs (e.g., scaled plays, media trial programs,), build sales product expertise (e.g., product trainings, summits, identify and scale best practices), orchestrate Global Product/GPS to the Market (e.g., immersions, specialist communities), and partner with regional marketing, to land key moments (e.g., Brandcast, Newfronts). Provide thought leadership on product activation, and forward looking product related business opportunities.
