Job Duties:
BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. is hiring a(n) Associate, Sustainability Compliance (ref. Code R252125 in Atlanta, GA).
Duties:
Review and help create policies and procedures to help mitigate conflicts of interest related to sustainability and embed sustainability into our program. Develop best practices to support our firms sustainability narrative and ESG related disclosures, claims and statements, including substantiation and related training materials on evolving regulatory requirements. Review sustainability-related policies, marketing, communications and white papers as subject matter experts working across LandC and closely with our sustainability partners. Develop a compliance training program focusing on sustainability and ESG guidelines and best practices. Work closely with global colleagues to help develop and ensure consistency of guidance for our sustainability stakeholders in support of the evolving regulatory landscape. Manage projects and track various sustainability-related commercial initiatives across the firm, including those related to our external commitments from our CEO and Client Letters, and our obligations as signatories or members of voluntary organizations. Provide post-delivery help to ensure that each policy and procedure have an accountable business group and robust control process. Develop a post-execution checklist of ongoing compliance responsibilities and monitor to demonstrate effective controls over a project or initiative.
REQUIREMENTS
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Finance, Law or a related field; and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in legal and/or regulatory (compliance) for asset management at a global, public company. Related skills may be required.
