Sales Reports to: President FLSA status: Exempt Supervises others: Yes Define Role The Market Director is responsible for all Auben Realty operations and activities relating to a particular Region or Target Market(s). The Market Director at Auben Realty is a multifaceted role, with responsibilities ranging from mentoring teams, overseeing market operations, facilitating growth, and embodying the company’s values. Their leadership plays the pivotal role in driving Auben Realty’s expansion and success in each Region or Target Market(s).

Essential Job Functions:
Oversee and manage a portfolio of up to 6 PODS (Property Operations and Sales) or 3,000 homes, ensuring operational excellence and growth across these units. Maintain a comprehensive view of each market’s performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth. Provide strategic support and guidance to Investor Account Managers (IAMs) and Senior Investor Account Managers (SIAMs) in their respective markets, helping them make informed investment decisions that align with the goals set forth from acquisition. Collaborate closely to develop investment strategies, analyze market trends, and maximize returns on real estate investments. Offer mentorship and direction to Market Sales Managers (MSMs), ensuring their effective navigation of the local real estate market. Assist in the development of tailored marketing plans for properties, leveraging local insights for optimal exposure and client engagement. Lead the hiring process for new teams in support of the company’s future growth. Identify and recruit top talent, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Facilitate onboarding and training programs for new hires, ensuring they align with Auben Realty’s values and goals. Play a pivotal role in the expansion of Auben Realty into new markets. Lead the setup of new offices and operations, ensuring a seamless transition and adherence to company standards. Conduct thorough market research to understand local dynamics, ensuring successful market entry and growth. Embody the principles of servant leadership, putting the needs and growth of team members first. Lead by example, demonstrating Auben Realty’s culture of integrity, collaboration, and commitment to client success. Uphold and exemplify Auben Realty’s unique culture, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Encourage values-driven behavior and promote a sense of unity among teams under your oversight. Regularly assess the performance of PODS, IAMs, SIAMs, and MSMs under your supervision, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted strategies. Contribute to the formulation of strategic plans and goals for the company, aligning them with broader growth objectives. Translate strategic directives into actionable plans for your supervised teams, ensuring alignment and effective execution.
