Role Summary The Director, HEOR, Solid Tumor Lead is a critical leadership position within the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) function at Servier. This role is responsible for shaping and executing asset strategies across both marketed and pipeline solid tumor products, demonstrating their value and ensuring patient access to Servier’s oncology portfolio. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Market Access, this leader will drive the design of comprehensive asset strategies, proactively identify evidence gaps, and lead the execution of robust evidence generation plans. Key areas of focus include unmet medical need and disease epidemiology, treatment patterns, clinical and economic outcomes, comparative effectiveness, and real-world clinical practice patterns. This role requires extensive collaboration with sub-functional Medical Affairs teams (Medical Strategy, Scientific Communications, MSLs) and a broad range of cross-functional partners, such as Commercial, Regulatory, Patient Advocacy, Finance, and Servier’s global affiliates. The Solid Tumor Lead is also accountable for developing and implementing strategic pull-through initiatives—including impactful publications, guideline submissions, promotional materials and payer dossiers—that leverage asset-centric

evidence to support stakeholder engagements. Additionally, this role is pivotal in driving clear, impactful communication of

insights and strategies to internal cross-functional teams, Medical Affairs, and senior leadership, ensuring organizational alignment and informed decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Oversight Lead the development of

HEOR/RWE

strategic plans for pipeline and marketed oncology assets in close partnership with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial. Lead and manage the

HEOR/RWE

book of work for solid tumors, ensuring alignment with asset development plans and key milestones across the product lifecycle. Provide strategic direction on evidence generation to inform payer, provider, policy, and patient decision-making. Study Execution & Evidence Generation Design, oversee, and execute a wide range of robust

RWE/HEOR

studies, including database analyses, chart reviews, patient-reported outcomes (PROs) research, burden of illness studies, systematic literature reviews, cost-effectiveness analyses, and economic modeling. Ensure scientific rigor, compliance, and consistency with leading publication and research standards (e.g., ISPOR, ISPE). Manage the acquisition and strategic use of real-world data sources (e.g., EMR, claims, registries), analytic platforms, and data governance for solid tumor indications. External Engagement & Scientific Collaboration Establish and maintain high-impact collaborations with external stakeholders, such as clinical experts, healthcare providers, academic institutions, payers, and patient advocacy organizations. Represent the company as a scientific leader in relevant scientific meetings, advisory boards, and external partnerships related to RWE and HEOR initiatives. Team Leadership & Capability Building Provide mentorship, scientific leadership, and performance management to 1-2 direct reports and/or external contractors. Promote continuous learning by delivering

training and capability-building programs to cross-functional teams across global and regional functions. Partner with the Head of

to develop and scale innovative, technology-enabled approaches to evidence generation and visualization. Communication & Cross-Functional Alignment Drive effective communication and dissemination of

HEOR/RWE

strategies, results, and implications to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, and Market Access teams. Translate complex scientific and economic findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders. Operational Excellence Lead annual planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for

activities in alignment with solid tumor portfolio priorities. Manage external vendors, consultants, and contract research organizations to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of

HEOR/RWE

projects. Oversee compliance with corporate policies, SOPs, legal and regulatory requirements, and relevant external guidelines. Ensure timely measurement and communication of the external and internal impact of HEOR evidence. Education and Required Skills An advanced degree (PhD, MS, MD) in Health Outcomes, Pharmacoeconomics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field is required, with significant and relevant experience in oncology. 8+ years of progressive experience in HEOR or RWE within the pharmaceutical industry or consulting, with demonstrated leadership in

strategy development and execution across multiple phases of drug development and commercialization. Proven strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving internal priorities and expertly navigate the external policy, payer, and regulatory environments. In-depth knowledge of the U.S. regulatory framework and payer landscape, with expertise in designing and implementing

HEOR/RWE

strategies to meet payer and regulatory requirements. Passion for driving innovative, high-impact evidence generation and communication to demonstrate product value, influence clinical practice, and support patient access. Experience managing teams, demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive within a matrix organizational structure. Strong project management capabilities and executive presence, with proven ability to negotiate, build consensus, and align diverse internal and external stakeholders. Advanced technical expertise in

study design and execution, coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex scientific data to varied audiences.
