This position is a critical leadership role within our newly established Integrated Supply Chain Operations function. Through unifying the Supply Chain and Operations teams, we are enhancing the sharing of best practices, establishing standardized processes, driving improvements, and creating models for career development and effective collaboration. As part of the global Operations team, this role will collaborate across various business units globally to develop an enterprise strategy for Operations capabilities. This strategy will encompass capital allocation optimization, capacity enhancement, and footprint rationalization, thus providing a holistic approach to operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement capacity management strategies that align with the organization’s growth objectives and operational needs.
- Implement and oversee processes to understand installed capacity, efficiency levels, quality, first pass yields, leading to true capacity utilization and opportunities to grow.
- Oversee the management of the organization’s footprint, including space utilization, facility planning, and resource allocation.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for expansion and optimization of existing facilities to support business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of capacity management initiatives with overall business goals.
- Monitor and analyze capacity utilization data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of capacity management professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to capacity management and footprint optimization.
