A national leader service-based operations is seeking a forward-thinking Assistant Vice President of Supply Chain Operations to lead its growing logistics and inventory infrastructure. This is a high-impact role focused on enhancing scalability, operational efficiency, and systems integration across a distributed supply chain. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, hands-on leadership, and deep expertise in supply chain technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute strategic supply chain initiatives to support growth, cost-efficiency, and performance across multi-site operations Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including inventory control, warehouse management, logistics coordination, and system support Lead supply chain systems architecture—managing ERP, WMS, and related platforms, including implementation, optimization, and integrations Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and reporting tools to measure performance and drive improvements Optimize parts and materials distribution processes to ensure timely, accurate delivery across national service locations Champion continuous improvement efforts using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen Partner cross-functionally with IT, finance, and operations teams to align supply chain initiatives with broader business goals Lead and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed team of supply chain professionals
Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain or logistics leadership, with a strong track record of driving operational improvements Hands-on experience with enterprise supply chain systems (ERP/WMS) and system implementations or upgrades Expertise in data-driven operations management, KPI tracking, and process optimization Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills Experience overseeing large, distributed teams and multi-location operations
