  • Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant in Corporate & Investment Banking as part of the Chief Operations Office (COO), specifically aligned with investment banking coverage business management & strategy execution.

The Coverage COO team, in alignment with Banking’s leadership team, is responsible for business management, driving strategy execution, and developing / executing client coverage strategy and programs. In this role, you will work on deliverables and execution priorities for the Head of Investment Banking and other members of the Banking leadership team.

  • In this role, you will:
  • + Lead client targeting and coverage strategy across Banking, coordinating with various cross-functional areas including Banking leadership, CIB Executive Engagement, LOB COO, Data & Analytics and CIB business partners + Manage a variety of assigned and ongoing business management operations to ensure success in meeting business objectives + Research, develop and execute on strategic priorities requiring deep analyses of internal metrics and industry trends, including supporting client campaigns, coverage effectiveness, executive engagement and client events + Utilize independent judgement to complete moderate risk deliverables + Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience + Collaborate to craft clear and compelling narratives by leveraging creative data visualization and story-telling to support executive strategic presentations + Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners •
Required Qualifications:
  • + 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 4+ years of Corporate & Investment Banking experience
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • + 4+ years of experience at a global, highly matrixed financial services firm + Experience working in or with front-line investment banking teams and leadership + Experience executing large projects on complex topics with clear deliverables and recommendations + Thought leader in topics that improve the overall franchise, including strategies to drive client engagement, improve efficiency, create leverage and scale, and increase process and metrics that drive behavioral change + Understanding of the Investment Banking and Corporate Banking businesses + Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations and reporting + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, communicate ideas and results effectively, and drive consensus throughout the organization + Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and act with urgency when supporting leadership requests •
Job Expectations:
  • + Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled + Ability to work outside of regular business hours + Ability to travel up to 10% of the time + Visa sponsorship is not available + This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
