Job Description

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking the Head of Organizational Portfolio Governance Director to oversee and enhance portfolio operations within our Consumer Technology division. This role will focus on providing financial oversight, reporting, and analysis for the technology budget and intake process in alignment with company objectives. In this role, you will: Lead initiatives to drive process enhancement through automation and ensure effective organizational portfolio and operational management Drive productivity initiatives to optimize organizational operational performance Conduct portfolio analysis, workforce, and reporting to inform operational decision-making Manage allocation of people and financial resources across the divisional portfolio Manage demand and supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with technology needs Develop and implement workforce and location strategies to support business goals Manage and develop a highly specialized Technology Business Services team with a focus on delivering moderate to high complexity service for cross functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the functional area or who are affected by its outcomes Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development by utilizing research and data in addition to in depth understanding of organizational goals, priorities, and technology while developing executable strategies and plans Lead Technology Business Services team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet high risk deliverables Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for technology business functions with moderate to high level of complexity and risk Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including technology industry leaders, financial industry leaders, analysts, and regulators, as well as interact directly with more experienced leadership and executive management Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Business Services Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of Technology Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

7+ years of financial services experience in technology business management Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive level leaders Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals Ability to effectively partner and influence at the executive level Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business Experience managing resource and hiring plans (including on-boarding, off-boarding, locating strategy, skills strategy) Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans, solutions, and test scripts Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills Experience writing and editing internal communications and training-related materials in a corporate environment or financial institution Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Previous experience within Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) Experience with capacity management
