Summary:
Executiveoperations leader responsible for operations of Raleigh specialtycare clinics in collaboration with the dyad partner and seniorleadership. Responsible for the collaborative development andimplementation of operating plans within the physician enterprise.
Coordinates and leads the administrative infrastructure of theassigned region in support of strategic goals. Responsible andaccountable for managing cost, quality, growth and strategy withinthe physician enterprise. Develops annual and ongoing operationaland business plans consistent with the mission and vision of UNCHealth Medical Group. Provides an atmosphere conducive to teamdevelopment and professional growth for associates within thephysician enterprise. Demonstrates and promotes corporate values,service excellence behaviors and continuous improvement•
Responsibilities:
1. Ensures integration and coordination ofphysician services and initiatives across the continuum andthroughout areas of responsibility within assigned entity/regionand UNC Medical Group, while adhering to applicable laws,regulations and organizational policies. Facilitate collaborationacross programs and strengthen internal communications with staffat all levels of the organization.

- and long-range strategy for the practices and support thedevelopment of service line structures.
Using business metrics andperformance measures, oversees process improvements and promotes aculture of continuous quality improvement. Increases efficienciesand consistency throughout the organization by ensuringstandardized approaches to services and marketing. Analyzes anddevelops new venture physician business models to support thehealthcare system’s strategic growth and ensure the delivery ofhigh-quality services.
- 3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of theorganization and ensure ongoing plans, goals and objectives are inalignment with the strategic plan and the budget. Ensure thatorganizational metrics are defined and embraced by staff in orderto meet funding and contractual requirements and implementprocesses that systematically measure organizational performance

Accountable for the financial outcomes for areas ofresponsibility within the physician organization. Oversees andsupports the development and submission of operating budgets,manages expenses in relation to the established budget, andmonitors budget variances and implements operational improvementplans when necessary. Ensure that funds are allocated properly tosupport present needs and future potential. Work closely with theSenior Leadership Team to develop short and long term financialplans, ensure that sound financial controls and oversight are inplace, and set financial priorities to ensure the organization isoperating in a manner that effectively supports the needs of coreprograms and staff.

- Requires a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience, with atleast ten (10) years of people managementexperience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements
- Understanding of the complexities of healthcare delivery systems,reimbursement models, and regulatory environment impacting cancercare
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieveclinical and operational goals for the applicable service line
- Communicating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders,including physicians, nurses, patients, administrators, andboards
- Identifies problem areas and skill gaps proactively andaddresses them appropriately
- Making sound decisions based onclinical expertise, data analysis, and business acumen
- Developing innovative approaches to improve the quality,efficiency, and accessibility of services
- Excellent projectmanagement and change management skills for designing andimplementing Entity, Triangle, or System initiatives in a complexenvironment.
