Vice President, Soteria Reinsurance Investment Operations Outstanding opportunity to join a newly formed team at Soteria Reinsurance within Fidelity Investments! The Role Reporting to the Head of Operations and Business Development, you will lead the investment operations for Soteria Reinsurance. You will work closely with the Soteria CIO and portfolio managers in all aspects of the investment process. In addition, you will partner with internal Fidelity partners, including asset management, FFIO, technology, risk, and compliance teams, as well as external service providers. Provide support to Soteria CIO and investment team, working with technology partners, FIAM and third-party managers Manage the operational due diligence process for third-party managers, including onboarding and operational oversight Recommend, implement and manage the appropriate infrastructure to support the growth of the Soteria Investment team Coordinate new portfolio launches from idea conception to launch working with Fidelity partners and external vendors (Clearwater) Establish data connections, configure and track compliance with investment guidelines, maintain data validation and reconciliation, and customize data and reporting capabilities Review cash and asset movement across Soteria’s custody and banks and accounts related to investment activity (trades, transfers, etc.) Interface and manage the relationship with third party servicers (custodians, banks, vendors and managers) Ensure funding and settlement of all deal flow Collect and compile responses to both internal and external audit requests Provide project management for any investment operations initiatives Identify opportunities for process improvement and oversee implementation of changes Expertise and Skills You Bring BS/BA required. 10-15 years of investment operations experience A high level of comfort working with investors and technologists A deep understanding of the end-to-end investment process Outstanding critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Ability to think creatively and independently while working in a collaborative environment. Capable of managing a small group of operations professionals Strong judgment, issue management, and problem-solving skills A demonstrated project and program management track record Self-motivated and comfortable taking the initiative and owning the outcome The Team This role will be a critical member within Soteria Reinsurance’s Operations and Strategy team.
