Everest Insurance is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Underwriting Services Team as the AVP, Head of Customer Delivery – Retail Casualty. This role will oversee four geographically dispersed teams supporting our Retail Casualty businesses and serve as a key liaison between Underwriting and North America Operations. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment across business units, technology, and operations. This is a high-impact leadership role that blends operational execution with strategic influence, supporting both our operating model and technology driven changes as well as the broader goals of the Evolution underwriting units. The preferred candidate will be located in Atlanta, GA, Warren, NJ, Chicago or New York City. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Team & Operational Leadership Lead and manage 5 teams (30+ members) across multiple U.S. locations supporting Retail Casualty Underwriters. Oversee our responses to internal audits inclusive of root cause problem solving when applicable. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and engagement. Recruit, train, and mentor talent while empowering the extended leadership team. Strategic & Cross-Functional Alignment Act as the primary liaison between Retail Casualty Underwriting units and the broader North America Operations team (including Data & Analytics). Provide strategic support to senior leadership in Underwriting and Operations on operational and technology implications of major initiatives. Coordinate project management efforts for cross-functional initiatives, supporting Underwriting product leaders and broader business goals. Own and/or contribute to a variety of business specific initiatives including, broker data management strategy; product management and filings; and overseeing alignment to Corporate Underwriting guidelines. Performance & Change Management Deliver on operational metrics and customer experience goals through proactive monitoring and problem-solving. Lead change management efforts to support adoption of new tools, workflows, and strategic initiatives. Break down silos and leverage best practices across teams to drive operational sustainability.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required. Minimum 10+ years of (re)insurance experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership in the Retail Casualty space Proven experience in operating model transformation and change management. Strong background in project management and cross-functional delivery. Experience working in matrixed and virtual team environments is a plus. Demonstrated ability to deliver on key performance indicators.

For NJ, NY, and IL Only:

The base salary range for this position is $152,000 – $200,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
