Job Summary :
Our VP of Business Development & Operations will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities with Medical Facility leadership teams. We specialize in building, maintaining, and developing strategic client relationships for Locum staffing. This position requires a proactive, creative thinking, and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in business development within the Locum Tenens medical field. The VP of Business Development & Operations will focus on customer acquisition and driving revenue growth. Must be highly energetic, professional, and eager to close sales and increase revenue. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate must have 5 years minimum of Locum Tenens experience with demonstrated success Developing strategic plan Developing marketing material Collaborating with recruitment team to fill needs Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support Cross-sell current customers and identify additional needs for services Researching and qualifying potential leads from business directories, web searches, internal customer database or digital resources Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective clients Presenting and delivering information to potential clients Demonstrate an understanding of the multiple lines of business to present services to multiple key targets including hospitals, healthcare facilities and various businesses. Strategize to develop key leads/targets, work prospects that will develop into qualified leads across the all Locum Tenens Medical Partners business lines. Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions Working with CEO & Business Development team that will generate closing of new sales. Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics Funnel new qualified leads into sales pipeline and manage 30/60/90 day pipeline expectations. Maintaining database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information and call activities. Create and maintain accurate notes in CRM and other tools. Engaged in team collaboration with focus on organic growth.
Certifications, Experience and Education:
Proven track record of at least 5 years’ experience in Locums space. Demonstrated leadership and success. Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred. Experience working in a Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM). Excellent communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet research.
