$150,000 – $175,000 annually Dock to Dish is on a mission to rebuild the broken seafood supply chain—reconnecting communities with their local fishermen and creating a more transparent, sustainable food system from dock to table. With national press recognition and a growing network of partners, we’re scaling our operations and looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the way. We’re seeking an Integrator —a seasoned leader who thrives on execution, excels at harmonizing complex systems, and knows how to turn bold visions into measurable outcomes. The COO will report directly to Dock to Dish’s CEO/owner , and will be responsible for ensuring that every function— sales/marketing, operations, and finance —is aligned, accountable, and working in unison. Key Responsibilities Report Directly to the CEO/Owner Serve as the operational right hand of the CEO, helping translate big-picture vision into real-world execution. Directly Manage Department Leaders Oversee and support the Directors of Finance, Sales, and Operations—ensuring high performance and strategic alignment. Translate Vision into Action Turn strategic ideas into tactical plans and oversee execution at every level. Manage Day-to-Day Operations Lead daily business activities and processes, addressing operational challenges in real-time. Drive Cross-Functional Integration Ensure collaboration across Sales, Operations, and Finance; align goals, communication, and execution. Own P&L Accountability Lead financial management, budgeting, and profitability performance. Hold Teams Accountable Set clear expectations, track KPIs, and ensure follow-through from all functional leads. Resolve Conflicts & Remove Obstacles Act as the company’s internal problem-solver and mediator, keeping leadership unified and productive. Execute Strategic Plans Drive the implementation of Dock to Dish’s strategic roadmap with rigor and consistency. Serve as Tie-Breaker Make final calls on key issues when leadership is deadlocked. Be the Glue That Holds Us Together Maintain organizational cohesion and operational discipline across departments. Requirements Proven experience as a COO, Integrator, or senior operations executive Deep familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is strongly preferred Demonstrated success managing department heads or cross-functional executive teams Strong track record of delivering financial results and managing P&L Exceptional operational, organizational, and leadership skills Excellent communicator, motivator, and decision-maker Knowledge of seafood or the seafood supply chain is a plus—but not required Passion for sustainability, local food systems, and mission-driven business Must be based in New York City or willing to relocate Why Dock to Dish?
