As our innovative Vice President of Operations , you will lead the team responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer service through our supply chain relationships, logistics network, and customer service. You will cultivate partnerships with our diverse vendor network, leveraging the strength of these relationships to deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers. You will lead and guide a growing team, overseeing Production, Transit, Inventory Management and Customer Care as they work together to delight customers, uphold our brand standards, and achieve our long-term goals for scale. As a key member of our Leadership Team, reporting to our CEO, you will also play an integral part in building and scaling our vision for best in class company culture. The ideal candidate will have past professional experience in people and partner management, and a demonstrated track record of excellence in understanding and identifying opportunities for efficiency and long term scale. This role is located at our New York headquarters, located in the TriBeCa design district. Responsibilities Oversee enterprising Operations team spanning the Customer Care, Transit, Production, and Inventory verticals – serving as an excellent manager and coach, and building a strong team culture. Unlock the full potential of our current supply chain partners across manufacturing and logistics by continually evaluating opportunities for enhancing current relationships and delivering more customer value as we scale. Support the development of our long-term Product Roadmap and Strategic Plan by building and scaling new, global supply chain strategies and business models. Manage and execute the plan to scale the Operations function and team in an efficient manner, with an eye to our long-term goals to profitably grow. Balance the resolution of current roadblocks, sometimes unforeseen, through creative problem-solving, with the long-term planning and growth of the business through OKRs. Serve as the final escalation point for customers, demonstrate empathy in all interactions, and coach our Customer Care team to consistently uphold and improve our adherence to brand standards. Partner closely with the CEO and broader Leadership Tram to drive cross-functional priorities and initiatives, as well as goals for company culture. Qualifications 12+ years of professional experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Finance Management Consulting, or other similar fields. 5+ years of people management expertise, including managing managers, with demonstrated success in hiring and developing a high performing team. The following professional experience is a plus, not required: i) Experience leading a customer service organization, ii) Intensive data / analytics experience An obsession for details, accuracy, and meticulous processes. Strong problem solving skills Entrepreneurial mindset that enables new, creative solutions to challenges. Keen analytical abilities, strong financial acumen, and understanding of how best to use data to drive business outcomes. Ability to prioritize effectively and remain agile amidst changing business priorities. Strong communication and presentation skills. Highly personable with the ability to work cross-functionally. High energy, positive outlook, and a healthy dose of hustle.
