Job Details We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Advisorto join our team in the energy industry. This role is ideal for astrategic thinker with a deep understanding of the energy sector,particularly in power systems and steam engines. The successfulcandidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety ofprojects, providing expert advice and guidance to optimize ouroperations and drive our business forward. This position will offermonthly travel between RI and CA – a wonderful opportunity for acandidate looking for the next step in their energy career. Afantastic position for an individual comfortable guiding anddeveloping existing staff in a consultative approach, while leaningon your own industry experience within energy steam turbines.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic advice and guidance onoperations within the energy sector, with a focus on power systems,process engineering, and field operations. Develop and implementoperational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Utilize your expertise in engine and power station operations toadvise on best practices and innovative solutions. Leverage yourknowledge of turbine control systems to optimize our energyproduction. Conduct thorough analyses of our operations,identifying areas for improvement and recommending action plans.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensurealignment of operational strategies. Lead and participate inprojects related to operations management, providing expertinsights and direction. Stay abreast of industry trends andadvancements, leveraging this knowledge to drive continuousimprovement in our operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree ispreferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy industry,specifically in operations management. Proven experience withengine operations, process engineering, power systems, powerstation operations, field operations, and turbine control systems.

Strong understanding of steam operations within the energy sector.

Excellent strategic thinking abilities, with a proven track recordof driving operational improvements. Strong leadership skills, withthe ability to influence and guide others. Excellent communicationand collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively witha range of stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, with the abilityto interpret complex data and translate it into actionablestrategies.
