DescriptionAt Amazon, a global leader in e-commerce and technology, is seeking an adept and Senior Manager to join our esteemed Global Fleet and Products team. This team spearheads the management and expansion of the network of professional contract organizations that drive Amazon’s in-house last-mile delivery service. We are dedicated to pushing innovation boundaries and ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction in our delivery solutions. As a Senior Manager for Vehicle Redeployment, you will lead a high-impact team responsible for delivering over ten thousand of safe and reliable vehicles annually to our esteemed Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) across North America. Your leadership will drive the implementation strategies in the traditional fleet business environment, optimizing operations, and enhancing the DSPs’ experience. By harnessing the power of data, tools, and innovation, you will shape a compelling long-term vision and execute scalable strategies that bridge operational gaps and foster excellence.
- This role can be located in Nashville (TN)
- Travel expectations will be approximately 15% Key job responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the vehicle redeployment team to achieve exceptional results in delivering safe and reliable vehicles to DSPs.
- Communicate persuasively and with a strong bias to get things done and deliver results
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with external partners to spearhead initiatives that elevate customer experience
- Foster and nurture strong relationships with DSPs and external partners to ensure seamless vehicle redeployment processes.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of end-to-end project ownership, from conceptualization to successful implementation, and delivering tangible results.
- Regularly interact with executive leadership and work with cross functional teams to program roadmap and execution.
- Define and track metrics of asset planning, utilization and impact to the bottom-lineBasic Qualifications
- 7+ years of team management experience
- Define program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Implement repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience delivering cross functional projects
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end deliveryPreferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to build a strong partnership with all operations functions to track vehicle life-cycle, measure costs, control and respond to any variation.
