REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS – NORTH
POSITION SUMMARY The Regional Vice President is responsible for overseeing all construction operations within their designated region. The position plays a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring operational and safety excellence, and fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams ensuring regulatory compliance.
POSITION FUNCTIONS
Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the strategic plan for the region, aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Identify growth opportunities within the region and implement strategies to capitalize on them.
Provide leadership and direction to regional teams, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Service Electric Company and Quanta Services.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the industry, and proactively adapt strategies and operations to maintain a competitive edge. Operational Management Oversee all aspects of construction operations, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements across all projects.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
Foster a culture of safety by promoting and enforcing safety policies and practices to protect employees, customers, and the public. Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure customer satisfaction and support business development initiatives.
Act as a primary point of contact for client communication, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction. Team Leadership and Development Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members to foster their growth and career advancement.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence throughout the regional organization. Financial Management Oversee budgeting and financial forecasting for regional construction projects, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and manage the regional budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures.
Analyze financial performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree is preferred.
Proven track record of leadership in the construction industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in senior management roles.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives, achieve business targets, and manage complex construction projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Sound financial acumen and experience managing budgets, financial performance, and cost control.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.

Valid drivers license required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
This position will work in a normal office setting, but will be required to travel to and visit work sites.
