We are seeking to hire bright, dynamic leaders who have a passion for service and a commitment to excellence. Beztak is looking to hire a Vice President of Operations to join our team. The Vice President’s objective is to maintain and improve the real estate both physically and financially. The ultimate goal is to produce the maximum cash flow and improve the property’s long-term value. The Vice President directs and oversees the overall operation of the apartment communities within their region.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain excellent relationships with our business clients. Interact and interface with multiple departments within the company including marketing, accounting, human resources and development to ensure continuity in objectives and goals. Propose alternatives and plans for under-performing properties. Develop, set and monitor all initiatives and operations creating goals and benchmarks for success Establish written goals for the property to achieve in every area of the Monitor liability exposure and related insurance claim processing, and legal counsel if required. Ensure operations/financial strategies are in line with the overall goals of the company. Contribute to the analysis and review process of our resident satisfaction (move in, quarterly and annual surveys) Identify and implement operational improvements to maintain/improve resident satisfaction and ensure each site meets targeted goals. Monitoring asset performance against general market / competitor performance, budgeted targets, and long-term plans. Set standards and lead our company and associates to a high level of quality performance. Manage the investment decision making process for ongoing capital expenditure programs to maximize ROI and create value

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

Bachelors’ degree required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multi-family, multi-site leadership Real Estate License is preferred. You may be required to obtain within the first 90 days. Highly proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Yardi experience preferred but not required. Ability to travel as required, position anticipates 50% travel
