Contracts Manager 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Tampa, FL 33602 • Remote We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in Tampa, Florida on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This position requires strong collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to support operational goals and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, such as SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, SLAs, and vendor contracts. Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including initiation, execution, renewal, amendments, and termination. Conduct regular audits of active agreements to ensure compliance with terms and timely renewals. Collaborate with internal departments, including Sales, Finance, and Legal, to align contract terms with organizational objectives. Maintain and organize contract templates and workflows within a centralized repository. Identify potential risks in contracts and recommend strategies to mitigate them. Ensure all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Generate reports on contract metrics, including cycle times, key terms, and overall performance. Support process improvements and integrations with tools like Salesforce and PandaDoc. A minimum of 4 years of experience in SaaS contract management, legal operations, or commercial operations. Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing SaaS subscription contracts and related agreements. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance within the SaaS industry. Proficiency in contract management tools such as PandaDoc, Salesforce, or similar platforms. Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with contract audits, renewals, and compliance processes. Experience with RFP processes, including drafting and responding to RFPs. Ability to interpret and analyze contract terms and conditions effectively.
