Torch Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Government Property Administrator to join our Government Property Management team. This position is responsible for supporting lifecycle management of Government and Contractor-Acquired Property. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and supporting physical accountability of government-owned assets. This position requires the candidate to be able to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment, have outstanding customer service skills, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to perform data entry and prepare reports and correspondence. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of the Property Management team, contributing to Torch’s overall success. The candidate will be responsible for following property procedures: Maintain accurate records for accountable property. Ensure identification and marking of property. Track location, movement, and condition of government property across multiple sites. Support annual and cyclical inventories, including physical count, reconciliation, and documentation. Maintain calibration tracking system; verify service records for government equipment are current and compliant. Monitor and validate appropriate use of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor-Acquired Property (CAP). Initiate and monitor disposition requests; ensure segregation of assets pending final resolution. Draft and support Government Property Loss (GPL) documentation, including Loss, Damage, Destruction, or Theft (LDDT) reports. Maintain audit-ready documentation for asset acquisition, movement, usage, and final disposition. Ensure segregation, visibility, and traceability of government property. Coordinate calibration and maintenance due dates, ensuring timely service completion. Uphold records retention compliance. Provide administrative support during internal reviews, self-assessments, and
DCMA/DCAA
audits.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in property administration, logistics, or supply chain support. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, AS9100, or
ISO 9001
standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain compliance documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Government Property Management systems such as PIEE, PCARSS, or A2B Tracking. Knowledge of calibration systems or maintenance tracking. NPMA membership or certification. Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP system.
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment with periodic visits to warehouse and shop floor locations. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and walk/stand for short periods during inventories. Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain and hold a final security clearance. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
