About the job Strata-G Solutions is seeking a Project Control Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the planning, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of project performance across a variety of contract types, sizes, and complexities. As a vital member of the program team, you will work closely with the Director of Project Controls to help establish project goals and recommend strategies to enhance progress and outcomes. This position involves frequent collaboration with project and program managers, senior technical personnel, and key departments such as contracts, finance, accounts receivable, and procurement. Remote work is not available for this position.
In this role you will:
Manage and monitor project setups, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments using Deltek Costpoint and Cobra. Create and maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) and produce detailed Project Status Reports. Support the development of resource forecasting tools and reports. Compile and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and performance reports. Collaborate with Contract and Project Managers to draft and submit contract modifications. Assist in reconciling labor, material, and travel expenses for invoice preparation. Apply project lifecycle methodologies and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project success. Review and validate timesheet entries across multiple projects for accuracy and compliance. To be successful in this role, you will need: Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cobra software applications Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail Skilled in implementing and supporting Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Experienced in preparing budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive financial reports Detail-oriented and effective in high-pressure environments with shifting priorities Knowledge of cost accounting practices and their effective implementation within a manufacturing setting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of directly related experience, or an Associate’s degree with at least six years of relevant experience. Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and colleagues.
