Senior Acquisition Analyst Until Filled (EST) | Huntsville, AL, USA |

Full Time Job Description:

The selected candidate will work as a Senior Acquisition Analyst supporting the STORM Project Office at Thompson Gray. Responsibilities include managing and overseeing contract development, coordination, and management for multiple programs and projects. The Senior Acquisition Analyst will support the Contract Management team in developing Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs), including Statement of Works (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Acquisition Plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and Army Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFARS), and achieving key milestones such as obtaining contract awards, meeting performance targets, and maintaining contract compliance.

Full-Time/Part-Time:

Full-Time Worksite details: Hybrid/Onsite. Currently the onsite requirement is one day per week but is subject to change at customer’s request.

Duties will include:

To develop Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs) to include Statement of Works (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategies, sole source justifications, Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), market research reports, Functional Requirements Authentication Board (FRAB) certifications, and Service Contract Approvals (SCAs). To assist in the coordination and development of the Data Requirements to include Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) and Document Summary Lists (DSLs). To provide input into the DD-254 Contract security classification specifications, special contract language, and evaluation criteria for various types of complex contracts and other procurement actions. To work contract modification packages to include Justification and Approvals (J&As) and documenting changes in scope. To develop and track Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) input for contracts and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) contract entries. To coordinate with technical POCs on delivery requirements, quality assurance, and special provisions. To coordinate approvals within STORM project office and with external stakeholders to include Competition Management Office, Small Business Office, and Army Contracting Command – Redstone. To assure packages comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Army Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFARS), and other PM specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). To manage and upload data in the Paperless Contract File (PCF) Database. To prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance. To review, comment, and provide feedback on reports, data deliverables and contractor performance in accordance with the terms and condition of the contract. To assist in reconciliation of funding before and after contract award.

Active Security Clearance or the ability to obtain security clearance is

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience to include Project Office and ARMY Contracting Command (ACC) or similar experience.
