Job Description

Program Manager IMSolutions, LLC 14750 State Docks Rd, Bayou La Batre, AL 36509 As a strategic project management professional, you are responsible for the day-to-day administrative and technical management of a government contract to ensure that services meet and exceed contractual standards. You set the overall approach and work plan, are responsible for team engagement and supervision, and serve as the IMS point of contact with the government.

Your specific responsibilities include:

Strategizing, defining, organizing, and supporting the overall work plan and project performance to meet program objectives. Developing and implementing management systems to coordinate and monitor work standards, scheduling, pricing, reporting, and technical performance of the contract, ensuring appropriate feedback mechanisms to optimize ongoing performance and continual improvement. Liaising and acting as a strategic advisor to the government’s Project Officer and/or Contracting Officer’s Representative (PO/COR). Working closely with the IMS Project Management Office (PMO) to leverage program management support for invoicing, tracking, staffing, and other administrative activities required to ensure effective administrative and technical delivery for programs Working with the Director of Contracts on negotiating and executing contracts and contractual changes, and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and contract financial conditions. Supporting new business development and capturing management opportunities within the existing program. Preparing monthly status progress reports (MSPR) and monitoring organization actions in responding to and complying with reporting requirements. Advise office personnel on document requirements and formats. Contact senior military and civilian personnel within the organization to obtain information. Leading weekly program update meetings with the government and conducting team meetings, as appropriate.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree with at least five (5) years of experience relevant to the SOW is required. At least 4 (four) years of pertinent experience shall have been in a project management role. In place of a Bachelor’s Degree, a minimum of ten (10) years of experience relevant to the SOW is required. At least 4 (four) years of relevant experience shall have been in a project management role. Knowledge of ship construction. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software suite, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Excel. Proficiency with Primavera or other project management software. Ideally, a PMP Certification.

Skills That Are Important:

Deep understanding of performance management techniques and approaches and project control principles. Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. The ability to practice cohesive leadership and vision to meet program deliverables successfully. The ability and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally and use shared resources. An understanding of taking appropriate risks and leveraging lessons learned.

Base compensation range and benefits:

$130,000 to $150,000 – Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set, and location.
