This role ensures compliance with applicable regulations, mitigates risks, and facilitates seamless collaboration between internal teams, government entities, and external partners. The ideal candidate possesses strong contract management expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of government procurement processes.

  • Key Responsibilities

Contract Administration:

Oversee the lifecycle of government contracts, including negotiation, execution, compliance, and closeout. +

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other relevant legal requirements. +

Risk Management:

Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring all deliverables and obligations are met. +

Proposal Support:

Collaborate with the Public Sector sales and proposal teams to ensure compliance and alignment with client requirements during RFP and RFQ processes. +

Vendor and Partner Management:

Maintain relationships with key vendors and subcontractors to align deliverables with project goals and contractual obligations. +

Data Management:

Maintain accurate contract documentation, amendments, and correspondence in compliance with internal and external standards. +

Process Improvement:

Implement best practices to streamline contract management processes and enhance efficiency. +

Collaboration:

Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, government clients, and external vendors to resolve issues, ensure mutual understanding, and promote project success.

  • Qualifications
  • Required
  • + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Contract Management, or a related field.

+ 5+ years of experience in government contract management, preferably in the IT or technology industry. + Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS and other public sector procurement regulations. + Proven experience with contract negotiation and compliance. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Proficiency in contract management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Preferred
  • + Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent certification. + Experience supporting IT-related government contracts, including managed services and cloud solutions. + Familiarity with state and local procurement regulations. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
