WHAT WE’RE DOING
The Subcontract Administrator is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of subcontracts, from preparation to administration, ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with program requirements and any policies. This role requires strong contract management skills, negotiation techniques, and attention to detail.
THE WORK
- As a Subcontract Administrator, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of subcontracts, including preparing specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement activities.
- You will develop and evaluate bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, and negotiate contract provisions with suppliers.
- From writing subcontract packages for review and awarding contracts to administering resulting subcontracts, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with program requirements and any policies.
- Your work will include the negotiation and coordination of contract changes, the development of procurement policies, and the potential to sign supplier agreements within your authority.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 – $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
