Customer Program Manager – C17 Military – 17382
Description
The Customer Service Program Manager role involves providing support to end users for military nacelles to ensure product performance, timely delivery, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Acting as the liaison between customers and product lines, the responsibilities include managing and coordinating activities to support and resolve technical issues, administering, extending, negotiating, and terminating standard and non-standard contracts. The role also involves conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in line with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Additionally, the position entails reviewing estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Other duties include preparing bids, processing specifications, progress, and other reports, advising management on contractual rights and obligations, compiling and analyzing data, and maintaining historical information.
§ Know and understand company and department policies and safety procedures.
§ Communicates with all customers in a professional and courteous manner.
§ Has working knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, various marketing promotional services, and similar data, as required.
§ Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
§ Review queue reports daily and action any SROs as well as follow-up on any outstanding issues
§ Discusses suitability of different types of aircraft components to meet customer’s requirements.
§ Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
§ Manages and maintains rotable inventory and associated processes
§ Prepares contracts for maintenance service.
§ Appraises aircraft components traded-in on new components.
§ Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
§ Supports sales management and outside sales activities.
§ Develops and maintains relationships with customer contacts. § Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
§ Attend trade shows as required.
§ Arrange and attend visits to customer facilities as required
§ Other various duties as needed or as assigned.
Qualifications
§ Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
§ Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience preferred or 3-7 years of aircraft nacelle MRO experience.
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills
§ Proficient in spreadsheet, word processing and Internet software. Syteline ERP system or other ERP system knowledge is preferable
§ Ability to organize and prioritize work; meet deadlines
§ Ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision and flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously
