This role is part of •Operations, which is comprised of Global Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security, and will be part of the direct procurement team that supports the Lunar Permanence business unit (~20 buyers). Lunar Permanence develops •’s Blue Moon landers and related products.
This role will support all Lunar programs, but will focus on supporting sourcing for the NASA Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program.
Our Buyer II will be identifying potential sources & preparing and issuing competitive Requests for Quote, writing price reasonableness determinations / price analyses in support of supplier quotes (when required), and can support negotiations of all types (when required).
Training for this position will be both on-site and virtual with experienced buyers, commodity managers, and leadership. Training will focus on FAR requirements, systems (Costpoint, Exostar, Windchill, SharePoint, Tableau, JIRA), and source identification & selection.
This position is on-site at our OLS Facility, and potentially may be converted to a FTE.

Qualifications:
Interprets and applies company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance
Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.
Ability to write price reasonableness determinations / price analyses of all types per FAR requirements
Experience supporting negotiations of all types, including, but not limited to, pricing, terms and conditions, FAR / customer contract flowdowns, and schedule
Working understanding of AS9100 standards
Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications, drawings, & statements of work
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired:
Experience in procurement of avionics, machined parts, raw materials
Experience working in Costpoint, Exostar, Windchill, SharePoint, JIRA, Tableau
Experience working with Certified Cost or Pricing Data
