Fabrication Specialist C – Orbital Tube (contract) 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Merritt Island, FL This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.  Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks. Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks. Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components. Assembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trains. Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products. Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products. Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests. Performs organic chemical conversion and paint preparation. Applies organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements. Works on complex components and systems using established drawings and requirements. REQUIRED

to perform this role/job?: 2 orbital tube welders 1. Must be certified – orbital tube weld certification 2. Must have experience with tube installation, this is a plus + 3. Boeing experience is a plus 4 tube installers 1. Must have experience with tube installation 2. Boeing experience is a plus •Must obtain a NASA cert post start• Pay Rate Range Min Pay Rate Max Pay Rate Currency Unit 33.25 38 USD hourly
