Skilled in reviewing, redlining, and negotiating contract language in collaboration with internal legal teams and external vendor counsel to ensure favorable and compliant terms. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in solicitation and negotiation, with a focus on implementation scope, service levels, and contract terms and conditions. Adept at collaborating with business units to draft clear and enforceable Scopes of Work/Services aligned with business objectives. Experienced in reviewing and negotiating terms for non-solicitation purchases, ensuring alignment with procurement and legal requirements. Ability to coordinate timely responses across multiple stakeholders and serve as a liaison among legal counsel, project teams, and business units to drive contracts to finalization. Familiarity with business unit-specific operations such as underwriting, claims processing, and information technology contracting. Strong working knowledge of State of Florida procurement laws and contract monitoring requirements to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
Education and Experience Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Alternative Experience:
In lieu of a degree, 3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of college education and equivalent professional experience totaling 3 years.
