Full-time We are seeking a Strategic Contracting Support Specialist to lead a comprehensive review of vendor spend across multiple locations. This role will be responsible for analyzing current vendor relationships, challenging costs and necessity, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. The primary deliverable will be a detailed report outlining actionable savings opportunities. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent collaboration with hub leads and key stakeholders, and a strategic mindset focused on operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Contract ReviewAnalysis:
Conduct thorough reviews of all vendor spend across various departments, challenging the necessity and cost-effectiveness of each vendor relationship.
Cost Savings Identification:
Quantify potential savings by assessing current contracts, negotiating terms, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
ReportingCollaboration:
Develop and deliver detailed reports that highlight areas where savings can be achieved. Work closely with hub leads at each location and key stakeholders to gather insights and support savings initiatives.
Vendor Relationship Management:
Engage with vendors as needed to assess current contracts, determine efficiency, and explore opportunities for optimization.
Required SkillsQualifications:
Proven experience in contract management, procurement, or strategic sourcing. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with various teams and stakeholders. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and deliver complex reports and findings. Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and other reporting tools.
